Joe brings 16 years of health insurance experience to The W Group. During this time, he has worked with several hundred companies to improve their health benefits plans and lower program costs through strategic plan design and creative solutions. Joe is a recognized industry expert who has been called on to speak to employers in the Cincinnati area on the subject of controlling healthcare costs.

As managing partner of The W Group, Joe works directly with the firm’s Midwest-based clients, providing the strategy and planning needed to address escalating healthcare costs and other challenging employee benefits issues.

Joe began his career in 1983 at Prudential HealthCare, Cincinnati, Ohio, as a benefit manager and actuarial underwriter. His responsibilities included providing consulting services to Fortune 500 companies and participating in a test pilot program for managed care in Cincinnati. Joe is a 1983 graduate of Miami University, Ohio, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and marketing.

Joe is a member of the National Health Underwriters Association and Cincinnati Association of Health Underwriters. He also serves on the Miami Alumni Council, Children’s Hospital Business Committee and is a member of the Mt. Lookout Civic Club.

A native of Fairfield, Ohio, Joe currently lives in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Mt. Lookout with his wife, Lynne, and children Julia and Scott.

Kristen Wierwille
Account Manager

Kristen brings eight years of benefits consulting experience to The W Group. She is a founding member of The W Group. Kristen’s organizational, management and client service skills are among The W Group’s key assets. She manages client groups, focusing on employee communications, strategic benefits and contribution planning.

Kristen’s experience prior to founding The W Group included client service on a wide variety of accounts, ranging in size from two employees to several thousand employees. At the Cincinnati division of Fortune 500 Humana/Choice Care, she was a broker service representative in the large and small group new sales and marketing department. Her responsibilities included supporting field agents and resolving new sales issues in the Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana region. She worked closely with the company’s internal departments, including underwriting, commissions, administration and customer service.

Kristen began her insurance career in 1994 in the finance department of Manhattan National Life, Cincinnati, Ohio, where she dealt primarily with quarterly and annual reporting.

Kristen is a native of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She resides in the Cincinnati suburb of Anderson Township with her husband Ron and daughter Gabrielle.

Alisha Molloy
Account Service Representative

Alisha brings seven years of customer service experience to The W Group.

Her responsibilities include working closely with clients on the details of health benefits plans. She directs all administrative activities within the company.

Previously, Alisha was a district operating specialist for the Midwest District of temporary service agency Robert Half International. In this role, she handled accounts payable and expense reports for over 900 employees in 40 offices throughout the Midwest. Alisha also served as a sales representative, specializing in accounts with small and medium sized businesses.

Alisha is a 1995 graduate of Miami University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in family and consumer sciences.

She is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and currently lives in the Cincinnati suburb of Anderson Township with her husband Mike and sons Miles and Simon.
